I'm an Australian living in London and my landlord turned up one day after I'd had friends over the night before for a dinner party. He said that the neighbour had told him that I'd had guests round and that I owed him £10 for each guests. He said it was in my contract so I paid him. I then contacted the NRA who said that although it was in the contract it was not enforcable and an example of harrassment. The NRA wrote to the landlord for me and he returned the money. Since then my landlord has left me alone.
